I hope you all had a very Happy Easter. Ours was pretty low key, but we did get to go to my parents house for dinner and most of the family was able to make it. That's (almost) always a good thing :) Seriously though, with everything that's been going on lately with my Mom's health, it was really good to sit and just chat with everyone. Mom even made those cute little 'chick' devilled eggs that we found on Pinterest for each of her grandsons, so fun!
And, to top all of that off... I was able to earn a promotion to Stampin' Up! Executive Demonstrator with the help of 4 very wonderful (and excited) ladies. Thank you to Wendie, Thelma, Mary and Janus (my mom) for helping me out this weekend. I look forward to helping each of you make your Stampin' Up! business the best it can be for you!
I have to tell you that I haven't been posting my classes because I'm kind of embarrassed that my home is still not re-constructed from all of the water damage we had in December. April 16th is the big day when our contractor starts work. I absolutely cannot wait! I decided to go ahead and post my April classes. The first 3 will definitely be held here, pre-construction. The last two locations are TBD, but they will be here in Hilliard, very close to my home. (Here if we can swing it, or possibly the library or a nearby club house)
Techniques Class
Location: Terri's Home Workshop
Wednesday Evening, April 3rd from 7:00 to approx. 8:30pm
*or* Thursday Morning, April 4th from 10:00 to approx. 11:30am
Cost: $10 *or* FREE w/ $25 merchandise purchase day of class
Join us as we use Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (TIEF) in two lovely techniques. The first uses TIEF on Vellum that is colored from the back, the second uses Inks and TIEF to create beautiful backgrounds. You'll create a 6x6 'How-To' sheet w/ technique example and a greeting card for each technique. Please bring CLEAR adhesive and scissors with you to class. Class size is limited so RSVP to hold your space.
April Cards
Location: Terri's Home Workshop
Wednesday Evening, April 10th from 7:00 to approx. 9:00pm
*OR* Thursday Morning, April 11th from 10:00 to approx. Noon
Cost: $18 prepaid by April 5th ($25 for Class Kit, prepaid also please)
Join us as we make cards of support; Sympathy, Miss You, Thinking of You etc. All sayings can be switched out for alternates (I have a ton on-hand, just ask!). You'll create 3 each of the 4 cards shown below for a total of 12 cards. Envelopes are included. Everything will be cut, embossed if possible, bows tied... I want to make this a fun relaxing class for you where you come and stamp, color, assemble. Bring Scissors and your favorite adhesives with you to class. Class payment should be made with RSVP no later than April 5th.
Floral 8x8 Home Decor Class
Location: Terri's Home Workshop
Date: Saturday, April 13th from 9:00 am to approx. Noon
Cost: $22 Prepaid by April 5th (Class Kits are available for the same price, prepaid)
Join us as we use lots of flowers and floral images to create this unique home decor page. It fits into an 8x8 Shadowbox frame (not included in class cost) and can be used to represent Mother's Day, May Flowers, May Day, Spring, etc. This class will be run a little differently than 8x8 classes in the past. We'll move around to stations until we have each element complete and then finish our pages at the finishing station. Please bring scissors and adhesive. Optional tools that will make things go faster for you are a paper piercer and mat. RSVP along with payment no later than April 5th to guarantee your spot in class.

Join us for this fun class where we'll use the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit from Stampin' Up! (Page 18 in the Spring Mini Catalog) to create the cards shown in the first picture below. That's 3 each of 3 absolutely gorgeous designs! And, you'll have everything in the second picture below to take home with you. Yes, that includes the adorable Just for You stamp shown. Everything will be cut, embossed if possible and ready for you to stamp and assemble your cards. Please bring scissors and adhesive with you to class. Optional items to bring: Paper Piercer and Mat (if you have them). Envelopes are included. RSVP with class payment no later than April 5th.
April Scrapbooking Class

Date: Wednesday evening, April 24th from 7:00-9:00pm

Join us as we create two different, 12x12 Double Page Layouts suitable for School and Birthday Pictures (a total of Four Pages). We'll use the For the Record Simply Scrappin' Layout Kit (page 9 in the Spring Mini Catalog) and the Bandstand Simply Scrappin' Kit (page 167 of the current Stampin' Up! Catalog). We'll even create a card or two from some of the leftovers! Everything will be cut and prepped and ready for you to stamp, emboss, embellish (you know how I love my embellishments!) and assemble. You'll leave with photo-ready pages. Please bring scissors and adhesive with you to class. Optional items: Paper Piercer and Mat (if you have them). RSVP with class payment no later than April 5th.
