Blog Candy!

Wasn't today just a beautiful Sunday? And, wasn't the whole weekend just gorgeous for that matter? I love this weather and I'm trying to live in the moment because I know what's coming (winter) and I'm not happy about that, but I'll worry about it later. Right now I'm just going to enjoy the here and now :)
How would you like to win some Blog Candy? As you can tell by the picture above, there's not really any candy involved, just some fun goodies from Stampin' Up! The winner will receive 30 of the 6x6 Print Patterns papers. That's 6 each of five different colors; Night of Navy, Ruby Red, Sahara Sand, Mellow Moss and Really Rust. The papers are all double sided which ends up giving you 12 options per color. They're normally only available as part of a Level 1 Hostess Gift. Our winner will also receive a spool of 5/8" Satin Ribbon. This ribbon is Whisper White, but can be dyed with our classic ink pads or reinkers to match any SU! color! And, they'll also receive a $10 Gift Certificate from me good for any current Stampin' Up! product or my SU! classes. You must redeem the gift certificate by October 31st.
So, just to recap, our winner will receive:
  • Thirty 6x6 Print Patterns Papers
  • One spool of 5/8" Satin Ribbon in Whisper White
  • $10 SU! Gift Certificate

I'm going to keep this contest open for one week and you can enter ONCE for each question. If you enter more than once per question, all of your entries for that question will be tossed (sorry!). Each day this week, I'll be asking you a question. Comment on the post with your answer and you'll be entered for the day. It's as easy as that! Saturday, September 19th will be the last question and the drawing will take place next Sunday. Please do not post anonymously as I won't know who to award the prize to if you're drawn! Good Luck to all of you!

Today's Question is a two-parter and you need to answer both parts to qualify:

Do you currently take any type of papercrafting classes (rubberstamping, scrapbooking, altered items)? Why or Why Not?

I do not. :o( I really want to come to your monthly classes, but I work on Thursdays during the day, and I have church on Wednesday evenings. I am so in love with the cards for this month, I may ask my boss if I can take a long lunch on Thursday if you have any more open slots. If not, maybe I will just buy the prestamped cards.

Thanks, Tameron

Thanks for the nice comments. PLEASE don't forget to put your name on them, I'd hate to draw you and not know who to give the prize to :(

On a side note: Since you posted anonymously, you can post again with your name...

Okay. So, I clicked to answer and then forgot the question. :)
I LOVE taking classes!!! Unfortunately, the only ones I have taken recently have been from you. Money, of course, is an issue, but also time. I have a hard time justifying driving all the way to one of the lss for a class. And, although Cord is close, I'd rather take a class from you directly than through Cord.

I have in the past, but not lately. I love doing it, but this year I am finishing my own schooling, so personal time is at an all time low :(

I would like to take a papercraft class, however, they seem to be at the wrong time or day for me. With 3 kids, I have a busy schedule. Someday I'd like to take a class to learn some new techniques, especially stamping as I'm a novice at it and am beginning to get into making cards. Thanks for your blog! I love your card designs!

I love taking classes, but haven't taken anything since CKC in April. My work schedule often gets in the way of taking your classes. Plus, I find it hard to drive an hour or more each way to attend a one or two hour class.

I would take some classes if I could find one that taught me some advanced techniques like my friend Terri did when she did card class once a month or two. :)

Terri I have taken your classes in the past and loved them. I haven't taken a class for a long time now due to other obligations and time. Still do a lot of stamping at home. You got me hooked.

Hey Charlene- Guess what? I AM doing classes again. I'd love to have you join us. Check out previous posts for information re: this month's card class being held this coming Weds. night and Thurs. morning :)

I currently do a scrapbook class where you make a two page spread once a month. I also take occasional card classes. I like to take classes to get new ideas especially for stamping. You can learn a technique then use stamps you have or buy more :)
