Sorry, no pictures today, I've been running like crazy doing 3 classes in two days. Last one is tonight, so hopefully I'll post some more of my upcoming classes over the weekend :)
Your question for the day is: How did you get started in rubber stamping or scrapbooking? And, what was the first thing you made?
I'm off to take a nap, I've got 30 minutes to spare and I can hear my bed calling my name...
Have a great evening!

My sister Karen got me started in the mid 90's. I have enjoyed it ever since, I only wish I could do it more often. The other thing I wish is that I were more creative!
Oh, the first thing I made was some scrapbooking pages. :o)
Class this morning was fabulous!!
I started scrapbooking when my daughter was 6 months old. She is now almost 12. The first thing I made was a scrapbook page! It was 8.5x11 and went in a 3-ring binder.
I started stamping when a friend of mine invited me to a Stampin' Up! party in 1995. I made some cards. I've been a demonstrator twice.
I got into scrapbooking way back in High School with the traditional scrapbook and non acid free products (yes it was that long ago). As for stamping, I went to a class about 10 years ago. I made cards and then tried my hand at stamping on a candle. That one didn't work so well. :(
I was invited to a friend's Stampin' up party...from there scrapbooking seemed a natural transition. Firstthing we made were some Christmas cards, I still have that same stamp set! LOL
I started scrapbooking after ordering a huge kit from QVC's first SB show years ago! The albums were coil bound with paper pages and no page protectors! The first things that I made were pages for my step-kids albums.
My first class was at Cord Camera at Hilliard. I got a gift card to take a class from Terri. I made cards. I was hooked and continued with Terri taking classes at her house.
Terri is my friend not my son
