Hello! Can you believe it's January 2016 already? Not to mention that Winter is here, with a vengeance it seems! I've been working on getting the studio re-set after the busy Christmas Season and I'm ready to get back into the swing of classes.
I'll warn you now, this is a LONG post, but worth reading if you're wondering how my classes will be organized over the next year. If you don't care about all the hows and just want the details, please check back tomorrow for January and February's class listings. Thank you for your patience!
I'm going to make my classes more consistent this year so you may notice that classes such as the Card Buffet will be offered each month on the 4th Weds evening and Thursday morning. This will give you a better idea of when to expect these classes each month. So, while the content will change, the actual week and day should not. These are the classes that will be on the schedule on a monthly basis:
Tiny Gifts & Treats- This class will be offered on the 1st Monday evening, Tuesday morning of each month but will only be offered prior to the following Holidays: Valentine's Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Back to School, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Template classes are back!- These classes will focus on unusual Card Templates. In each class you'll learn a learn a new template style, make a prototype for the template, receive written instructions including measurements and create 2-3 cards utilizing that template in class. You may want to start a notebook to keep your templates and instructions in. This is not included in the cost of your class but a simple 8-1/2x11 Notebook with page protectors should do.
My Team Downline meetings will be offered on the first Tuesday evening of the following months: March, April, June, July, September, October and December. And they'll be held on the first Saturday of the month in February, May, August and November.
Home Decor Classes (when available) will be offered on the 2nd Wednesday evening / Thursday morning of the month. Past classes that fall under this category would be the 12x12 and 8x8 Frame Classes, Tin of Cards Class, Mixed Media Canvasses, Witches Hat, etc.
Technique Classes are Back! They'll be scheduled the 3rd Monday evening / Tuesday morning of each month and we'll focus on ONE technique per class. This is another one that you might want to start a new notebook for. It's not included with your class but again, a simple 8-1/2x11 Notebook with page protectors will do. You could start out with one and put both the Techniques pages AND the Templates pages (see class info above) in the same album until you run out of room.
Specialty Classes will be offered the 4th Wednesday evening / Thursday morning of the month WHEN APPLICABLE. Past classes that fall under this category would include the Birthday Boxes, The Painted Blossoms Card Set, Butterfly Cards, etc. There may or may not be a class in this category every single month, but when it does happen it'll fall on these days.
Card Buffet- as stated in the beginning of the post, this class will be held on the 4th Wednesday night, Thursday morning each month. You'll be making a few more cards AND you'll be able to take this class for FREE each month with a minimum $25 online order prior to class OR $25 minimum catalog order the day of class.
Stampin' Bingo- This fun event will be held on the 4th Sunday afternoon of each month through Sale-a-Bration (January, February, March) as a limited time special event.
