This one uses the beautiful Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set and Dies Bundle and a little bit of an unusual color combination. Some things to note:
- I really wanted to make the flower and the ribbon pop, so I stamped the ribbon in Flirty Flamingo onto Powder Pink cardstock, and then the flower was also cut out of Flirty Flamingo. It adds some depth to the colors. I really like the combination!
- Notice the details in the flower and leaf cutouts? Stampin' Up! just redesigned their Big Shot Die Brush and I think it's a necessity to get all of the bits and bobs out of the center of your dies and die cuts. It's super easy to use! The new configuration also comes with two of the foam pads so you have a replacement when the first wears out.
- The center of the flower is adorned with one of our new Faceted Gems. These gems already have adhesive on them so you can place them wherever you want without any fuss. They're also thin enough to mail without additional postage (depending, of course, on how many OTHER layers you have on your card). We used the Silver Gems, but they also come in Gold!
