Beep, Beep!

Today I have the cutest Valentine card! I really love this one. It's loosely Case'd (Case is an acronym that stands for 'copy and share everything') from Marcie Besecker Designs. I think the robot is so fun and can imagine sending a batch of these out to my Grandchildren for Valentine's Day.

The Robot was stamped with Memento Ink, colored in with Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate and Real Red), and then fussy cut with scissors leaving a very tiny border around the edge. It could also be colored in with Regular Markers or Watercolor Pencils, although it wouldn't be quite as vibrant.

The conversation hearts are a two-step process. First, I stamped the outline in Memento Black, and then I stamped the background with Misty Moonlight, Granny Apple Green and Real Red ink pads. They look like they're colored in, but actually the stamps do all of the work. The hearts are then die-cut using the coordinating die set.

The scalloped and stitched rectangle beneath the images is from the Scalloped Contours die set. I didn't realize while I was making cards this month just how often I reach for these dies. They're such a great staple to have on hand! There is a matching stamp set, Color and Contour, and the stamps and dies can be bundled together to save you 10%. I'll list it both ways in the supply list.

This card is available for Card Buffet, Card Kits, or as a finished card. Please ask if you have questions.

All supplies are all listed below. Click on an individual item to be taken to my online store or click 'Add all to Cart' and then delete the items you don't need.

Thank you so much,
Terri :)

Sheetload of Cards from Call Me Crafty Al

Hello Stampers! A couple of months ago, I happened upon what I found to be a very interesting YouTube video. It was one by a maker named Call Me Crafty Al and it was a unique approach to making lots of cards at one time.  Alicia publishes a "Sheetload of Cards" layout each month and has since 2019, and although she doesn't seem to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, this works great with SU! product. The cards below are based on her December 2019 Sheetload of Cards Video. Check it out and let me know what you think.

My Supply list for the trio of cards shown above. Click on any item to start shopping or add all to cart and then delete the items you don't need :)

Notes: The Pattern Party paper pack is available to Hostesses only ($150 minimum order) and the Special Moments stamp set is a Level 2 Sale-a-Bration item (FREE with $100 purchase until the end of February or while supplies last).

Have a great day! Terri :) phone: 614.530.7167 email: terri.meehan@att.net

Card Buffet Postponed

Hello Stampers! I hope you're all staying warm and healthy. It's been such a long January for us. My husband and I have been sick since the first of the year. Definitely not covid, but it's been hard to get rid of all of these upper respiratory symptoms. I'm finally starting to feel better but have decided that this month's Card Buffet will have to be postponed. My stamp room looks like a bomb went off in it, and I just don't have the energy I need to get everything ready in time.

I HAVE been super busy making cards though and will be posting them over the course of the next couple of weeks.

If you've placed an order (with me or in my online store) greater than $30 during the month of January, Thank You! Please keep an eye on these cards and let me know which ones you'd like to have as a specially designed kit. You can choose up to 8 cards total, in sets of 2. Don't have time to make them yourself? Choose 4 for me to make for you and I'll send the completed cards, and envelopes, to you at the beginning of February! Or, if you'd simply like to purchase the cards, they're $3 each, or 4 for $10 plus shipping.

If you're planning to come to card buffet (hopefully next month), you'll want to watch these cards as well. These will be what I'm offering in the class :)

Today I'm finishing up some long overdue Thank You's. That's what you see in the pictures above (Note: these cards are available for kits and for purchase also) The card supply list is listed below.

Have a great day!
