2019 Christmas Card Workshop Info

Hello Stampers- I finally have the time to post your Stress-free Christmas Card options. I've done all of the design work on them and will have them all prepped so you can relax and create! I'll have other options for the sayings, so it you love the card, but need it to say something different, just ask. As always, I'll do my best to make your cards just perfect for you!

The Card Workshops that I have scheduled are Friday, November 29th and Sunday, December 1st. Yes, that's next week after Thanksgiving. I really hope that you can make it to one of these sessions, but, if you can't and you still want to do Christmas Cards, please reach out to me and hopefully we can figure out another time for you. I still have to work on my own Christmas Cards, so it's not a huge deal :)

Friday, November 29th ANYTIME between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. but please let me know what time you're planning to arrive.
Sunday, December 1st, 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Other dates as needed

NOTE: My Christmas Card workshops are WAY different than my Card Buffets. Everything is done in sets of 10 (or 12, in the case of one card) Pick and choose the cards you want, tell me how many sets you want and then I'll have you prepay so that I can order (or replace) supplies. Note: Your spot in class will NOT be saved until payment is received. Thank you for understanding! You'll want to bring your own adhesives and scissors, but dimensionals will be provided. Envelopes are also provided and are included in your cost per set.

This year, there are TEN different card choices. When you sign up, you'll want to tell me your choices, Which session you'd like to attend and how you'd like to pay (cc over phone or paypal invoice). Please note, you can do as many sets as you'd like. In the past, some attendees have stamped everything and put together one card and then they take the rest home to assemble at their leisure. What a great way to prolong the fun!!! If you don't need Christmas Cards for yourself, but want to join the fun, consider donating them to a Senior Citizens Center or the American Cancer Society Store. Win-win!

You'll want to sign up as soon as you can to reserve your seat at one of the sessions!

So, without further ado, here they are! Let me know if you have any questions...

Card #1 Cup of Cheer $12.00 / set of 10
This cute little card has embossing, die-cuts and dimension added.

Card #2 God's Peace - $13.00 / set of 10

Wink of Stella AND Shimmery Crystal Effects to add some punch!

Who doesn't love a Christmas Cardinal? This one is for those that love
to color and has lots of dimension with die-cuts, embossing and popped up

felt scarf or felt hat. No two will be the same!

October Classes (finally!)

*Do NOT respond to this message if you received it via email! Please send responses directly to me at Terri.Meehan@att.net, otherwise I won't see it*

Hello Stampers! I've missed you... have you missed me? I can't believe it's been almost 3 months since I've seen any of you at class. We have had a whirlwind of activity going on in our family during that timeframe. We bought and moved into a house in Pickerington, where I have a complete floor (NOT the basement!) for my studio and classes. It's so much fun! We sold our house in Hilliard and close on it this coming Friday. It was a lot of work but so worth it when it sold in less than a day! Of course, we had the BEST realtor, my scrapbooking buddy, Suzy Popp. She has been awesome. I've still kind of been going back and forth dealing with stuff here and there, but did I mention how much I love our new home? And, my husband, Tim only has a 15 minute commute to and from work instead of the 45mins to 2 hours that he's been dealing with for the last year. Yay!

So, you've all been asking me about classes. You may note that the dates have changed from those I originally intended. I had to do some last minute finagling this afternoon so we (Me, Tim, my sister, and brother-in-law) could make a trip out to Arizona to finalize my brother's house and scatter his ashes. While we're out West, Tim and I are going to take a side trip to San Diego to see my daughter, Liz, her husband, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, 4 of our Grandchildren. Oh, how I've missed those sweet, sticky faces of theirs!

You'll want to RSVP early if you're planning to come to class. I'm limiting the seats to 8 per session until I determine how much space I have in my classroom area. I know I hate to be squeezed in for classes and I don't want to do that to you either! If you can't make it to one of these sessions, and you're still interested in coming, please send me a message with some alternative times that work for you. If I can work it out, I will!

Here are your class details:

BOGO Sale this coming weekend!

Hello Stampers-

New 2019/2020 Stampin' Up! Catalogs can be picked up at the sale this weekend!

WooHoo! It's that time of year again! Please join me on Friday evening, June 14th from 6 to 9pm and/or Saturday morning, June 15th from 9am to Noon for my Annual BOGO Sale. Details are the same as the last few years and are listed below. Sale will be held at my home, please contact me if you need my address. Thanks!

BOGO Details:
Shop from my retired Stampin' Up! products and you'll receive a gift certificate from me to use for Brand NEW Stampin' Up! products of your choice! Certificate is for merchandise only and does not cover the sales tax / shipping on your items.  I know, this sounds too good to be true, but it is! If you spend 117.42 (or any amount) on retired products at the sale, I'll give you a credit for that exact same amount that you can turn around and spend towards Brand New Product. Yay!  You'll pay any overage, and of course your shipping and sales taxes on your new catalog order. It's really very simple... I've used and loved these products but really have no room to keep them in my business. My loss is your gain and I love finding great new homes for my 'babies'. It's a win-win! The only 'catch' is that you must use it or lose it by June 25th, 2019.

Hope to see you at the sale!

And now, for those of you who've been asking about my travels. I've been home for about 10 days since the middle of March....

I started out at a Stitch Retreat with 614 Knit Studio on March 15th, 16th and 17th. It was a working weekend for me, but you know I love knitting and crocheting so it was so much fun!

Sunday morning I got a text from my brother, telling me that his health was declining fast and that his nurse thought we should come out to see him 'soon'. So, I booked a flight to Mesa, AZ for the next day, Monday the 18th and planned to stay out there with him as long as I could. He passed away the next Sunday night. My baby brother :(  I stayed out there for another week, taking care of arrangements and dealing with 'stuff'. His friend, Heidi, and I decided to take a day trip for ourselves mid-week and so we went up to Sedona, AZ to see the Red Rocks. It was absolutely breathtaking!

So, back home on April 2nd, and then a scrapbooking retreat that weekend. It was at the Inspiration Inn Bloom up in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Thank goodness for that retreat, because I needed swaps for the next weekend and everyone was so nice. I only thought I knew two people going, but it turned out that I ran into an old friend and made several new ones too. :)

April 11th through the 14th, I was in Atlantic City for one of Stampin' Up!'s OnStage (think mini-convention) Events with 5 of my downline. It was a lot of fun being with so many creative stampers. I could honestly take or leave Atlantic City. It was kind of dirty and very smoky. Ugh! But, we got a copy of the 2019/2020 Catalog and I can tell you, It's A-MA-ZING! I don't know how they do it each year but I think this is one of the best catalogs they've ever, ever had!

April 18th was my 54th Birthday. Seriously, 54?! Does anyone else feel like this is all just a joke and they're still 20? LOL! It was a pretty low-key birthday, but my family all came over for dinner and we just relaxed and enjoyed time with the grandkids.

April 19th, 4a.m., my daughter, and her 4 kids (4, 3 and the 8mo. old twins) set out for San Diego. We drove! The kids were really good. My daughter is a total Trooper! We made it to Oklahoma City the first night, Mesa, AZ the second night. We stayed at my brother's house Easter Day and then Monday we finished the trip to San Diego only to find out that there had been a mix-up (Military) and they wouldn't have an apartment until Thursday. So, another night in a hotel and then they luckily got into an apartment on Tuesday afternoon right after they dropped me off at the airport to head back to Mesa. On our trip I saw some of the most amazing things for the first time. The Sand Dunes in the Sonoran Desert, the (incredibly) Rocky Mountains. Elk, Moose Deer, the bay of San Diego to name a few. We even went through Border Patrol, twice!

April 23rd to April 30th. Mesa, AZ. This was the trip I originally planned to spend time with my brother, but since he was gone, I went ahead and stayed at his house to clean up some loose ends for my brother-in-law (his Estate Administrator). While I was there I decided to take a Train trip to see the Grand Canyon with his friend, Heidi. It was sort of a birthday gift to ourselves since her birthday was the day after mine. Wow! Arizona truly has some of the most amazing landscapes.

And then, April 30th, I was home again! My amazing Husband picked me up at the airport after work. Have I told you that he NEVER picks me up outside? No cell phone lot for him. I can always count on him being at the bottom of the escalator by the Baggage Claim area. He even stands in the same spot so I see him as soon as the escalator gets low enough. Now, if that isn't LOVE, I don't know what is?! I had cards and packages waiting for me. It's like my birthday was extended for weeks! Wow!

I'm so happy to be home, and, if you've read to the bottom of this you are a champ! Can't wait to stamp with you again soon.

Have a great day!
Terri :)
