You'll have your choice of almost 30 fabrics to create two Flower Folds Pins. We'll use the Sizzix Big Shot with the Stampin' Up! Exclusive Flower Folds die, up to 4 different fabrics from the choices above, a little bit of hand sewing and buttons to create two different pins. Please bring scissors and a thimble (if you have/need one) to class. RSVP, class size is limited to 6 per session.

Haitian Disaster Relief

Like so many other people, I've been horrified to see the aftermath of the Jan. 12th earthquake in Haiti. I know that I've been looking for ways to help, and Stampin' Up! has graciously offered yet another avenue to provide relief through the Red Cross of America. I'm proud to be part of such a humanitarian company. Without further ado, here are the details of their Haitian Disaster Relief program:

On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. In the past, when terrorists attacked the Twin Towers, when a tsunami struck Indonesia, when a hurricane destroyed New Orleans, and when wildfires ravaged Australia, Stampin' Up! demonstrators stepped forward and showed their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. This time is no different.

From now until February 28, 2010, you can partner with Stampin' Up! to make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of this devastating earthquake.

Stampin' Up! will set aside $2 from the sale of every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set and donate that money to the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

Vintage Vogue- Picture and Final Class Information!

Details on the Vintage Vogue Class. Please note date change!



Class: Vintage Vogue Class {Stamp Set Included!}

Dates: Evening- Wednesday, February 3rd, from 7:00-9:00pm *OR*

Morning- Thursday, February 4th from 10:00-Noon

You'll create all FIVE of the projects shown with your very own Vintage Vogue Stamp set which will be pre-mounted when you arrive. See page 26 of the brand new Occasions Mini Catalog for a picture of the stamp set. These projects were featured at the Phoenix, AZ Regional Seminar that I recently attended with 1,500 of my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator friends! All supplies will be pre-cut and ready for you to stamp, embellish and assemble. Please bring your favorite adhesives and *scissors* with you to class. Envelopes will be included for the 4 cards (including the mini glassine envelope down on the bottom right), and we'll tuck a goodie into the Friend pouch (center). All Payments and RSVP's for class are due no later than Thursday, January 28th (this is to give me enough time to order and assembe your stamp sets!). So much awesomeness!

Well, I'm back from the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference and it was so awesome. Unfortunately, my camera stopped working the first day. I met the most awesome women and there is a whole group of us that will be holding each other to task on our goals. It's going to be a great year! One of these wonderful ladies has volunteered to share the pictures she took so you may be seeing some of them soon.

We received so many cool things: 4 new stamp sets, a brand new bag, a pen and a lapel pin, make and takes, and prizes (yes, I was lucky enough to win a wonderful prize package that included several of the items from the Occasions Mini Catalog!). Two of my favorite items were a Stampin' Up! Scissor Fob, and......................... a QUILT BLOCK! Yes, that's right, a quilt block. Made with the Sizzix Big Shot and Dies, and made for us by the wonderful folks at Stampin' Up! We were so excited. 1,000+ Screaming, Stomping, Dancing women with quilt blocks in hand. It was a sight to behold :)

After Leadership Conference we were able to attend the Phoenix Regional Seminar. It was absolutely the best regional I've been to in a long time. So many talented women and great ideas. Absolutely amazing and I'll be sharing some of the ideas with you soon in the form of classes and workshop projects.

Instead of a picture today, I want you to check out my new Blog Header. It was made very quickly, and fairly easily, with Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio software. Floral Pins Class Save the Date

I don't have all the details yet, but this class will be held on Wednesday, January 20th from 7-9pm and again on Thursday, January 21st from 10am-Noon. Will post more information as I get it but we'll be making 2 different pins using Fabrics and the Sizzix Big Shot Machine and Dies!

We'll make a Penguin Birthday Card, a Sympathy Card, a gorgeous Pink and Purple card with Designer Papers, and a Watercolored Card using one of our great new Sale-a-Bration stamp sets (these are the Limited Edition Stamp Sets that you can only get FREE with a $50 mdse purchase over the next couple of months). Everything will be cut and ready for you to stamp, embellish and assemble. Envelopes are included. Please bring your favorite adhesives and a pair of scissors with you to class. RSVP, class size is limited.

A Brand New Year!

Happy 2010 Everyone! It's been a great day so far, lots of family time and the Buckeyes winning the Rose Bowl. WooHoo! Everyone here is in a very good mood!
