Finally, time to create!

Because I finally had the chance to sit down and stamp (it's been way too long!), I've got a card to share with you today. This card was made for a card swap that I joined recently. I had to use a brand spanking new Stampin' Up! stamp set, and it couldn't be anything that we could preorder as a demonstrator. Thank goodness for my friend Darlene! She literally handed me every stamp set she got at Convention and told me to take my pick. So, I chose the Inspired By Nature set from page 100 in the new catalog. (If you don't have a new catalog yet, call or email me and we'll figure out the best way to get you one). All of the products I used were from Stampin' Up! and they included: Cardstocks- Brocade Blue, Close to Cocoa, Kiwi Kiss & Watercolor paper. Classic Ink Pads: Brocade Blue, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa & Old Olive. Stampin' Write Markers- Brocade Blue, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive. Other accessories- Ticket Corner Punch, Horizontal Slot Punch & 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain.

A new venture for me...

Welcome to my blog! I've decided that this would be the best way to share information about completed projects, things that inspire me, random observations on life and upcoming classes that I'll be teaching. I'm planning to post 2-3 times a week, and I hope you'll stop by often to see what I've added. I look forward to sharing my love of paper crafting with you!

I didn't realize I'd get so far in setting up the blog today and so I don't have a project to share with you. However, I think it's fitting to share something else that I love... my adorable grandson 'E'. Isn't he something? Have you ever seen a cuter smile? I didn't think so *grin*. Have a great evening and, if you have the chance, leave me a comment and let me know what you'd like to see on my blog.
