Greetings, Kind Human!

I think today's card would make a great Birthday Card or just a fun Hello for a child (or another adult that remembers Rosie on the Jetsons? LOL!) All images are from the fun Nuts & Bolts stamp set. The Robot was stamped with Memento Black and then colored and blended with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. I used The Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, and Real Red from Assortment 1, and the Crushed Curry from Assortment 2 (although, I could have used the Daffodil Delight from assortment 1, it would have just been a brighter yellow). The image was then fussy cut, leaving a very thin white border.  I like to use the SU! Paper Snips because they have such pointy tips that really help me get into all the grooves.

The Greetings, Kind Human was stamped twice, once in Bermuda Bay and then once in Old Olive (side note: make sure you always clean your stamps in between so you don't muddy your colors!). The words were then cut apart. I used two of the blue and one green word on this card, and I save the leftovers for another card! You could also stamp this entirely in Memento Black and it would be fine.

Anyone that knows me, KNOWS that I love a good grid paper in pretty much ANY color! I love that Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Papers are printed on both sides. The Flowering Fields DSP wasn't an obvious choice here since I didn't need spring flowers on my card, BUT this paper is so versatile because it has basic tonal designs in the back in some great colors including Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Highland Heather, Pool Party and this one in Old Olive. It's a great basic paper option.

It's hard to see in the picture, but the right-hand panel in Pear Pizzaz was embossed with the Timeless Textiles embossing folder in the Stampin' Emboss & Cut Machine. It adds a lot of texture and dimension without adding an actual theme (i.e. NOT particular images) I use it a lot on 'guy cards' and it's so pretty on foiled papers!

This card is available at Card Buffet, in Card Kits (unstamped only) and as completed Cards.

Today's supply list:

Oh, to be at the Beach today!

Today's card makes me long to be on a beach somewhere warm. Is winter over yet? LOL!

This is a very simply stamped card. These Palm, Beach and phrases are from the Paradise Palms Stamp Set. They're also available with coordinating dies in a bundle that will save you 10%. I'll list both in the supplies so that you can choose what works best for you. I also used one of my favorite DSP's; the Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper.

This card is available for Card Buffet, (un-stamped) Kits and Finished Cards. Place a $30 order this month and choose from this or recent/upcoming postings for a Free customized 8-card kit, or 4 finished cards of your choice. Available while supplies last.
